The Biology Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Universitas Sriwijaya, successfully held a public lecture titled "STEM in Biology Learning" featuring an esteemed guest speaker, Associate Professor Dr. Syakirah Binti Samsudin from Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI), Malaysia. The event took place as part of the program’s commitment to enhancing academic insights and global educational collaboration.

Prof. Madya Dr. Syakirah delivered a comprehensive lecture highlighting the integration of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) approaches in biology teaching and learning. She emphasized the importance of interdisciplinary thinking, inquiry-based learning, and real-world applications to foster students’ critical thinking and problem-solving skills in biology education.

The public lecture was attended by lecturers, undergraduate and postgraduate students, as well as education practitioners who actively participated in discussions and knowledge sharing.
