The Mathematics Education Study Program of Sriwijaya University are delighted to announce the upcoming Third National Conference on Mathematics Education (NaCoME 2025), which will take place on October 25, 2025. This year, the conference carries the theme “Innovations in Mathematics Education”, highlighting emerging ideas, practices, and technologies that are reshaping the landscape of mathematics teaching and learning.
This annual conference serves as a platform for educators, researchers, students, and practitioners to engage in meaningful discussions, share research findings, and collaborate on innovative approaches in mathematics education. Participants will have the opportunity to present their work, attend insightful keynote sessions, and join interactive workshops focused on current challenges and solutions in the field.
The conference will be enriched by keynote presentations from three prominent figures in mathematics education. Dr. Rogier Bos, an Assistant Professor at the Freudenthal Institute, Utrecht University (The Netherlands), is widely recognized for his work in dynamic visualization and the creation of digital tools that have significantly influenced mathematics education both in his home country and on a global scale. Dr. rer. nat. Adi Nur Cahyono, M.Pd., an Associate Professor at Universitas Negeri Semarang, is the founder of the Math Trails Lab and a leading researcher in digital-based mathematics education, particularly mobile math trails and mathematical modeling. His international academic engagements include visiting professorships in Austria, Malaysia, and the United Kingdom. The last but not least Dr. Hapizah, M.T., a lecturer at Universitas Sriwijaya, specializes in computational thinking and the integration of ICT in mathematics instruction. She is also actively involved in promoting educational innovation and advancing teacher professional development within her area of expertise.
