SEA-Teacher Program 9th evaluation meeting
21-22 June 2024 in Chiang Rai, Thailand

This meeting was attended by representatives from around 200 universities participating in the SEA-Teacher program as well as teacher education institutions throughout Southeast Asia.

The purpose of this meeting is to review and evaluate the implementation of the 9th batch of pre-service student exchange programs, taking into account best practices and lessons learned and
discussing and planning the implementation of the 10th batch of pre-service student exchange programs.

Electronic signing of the Letter of Agreement for the 10th batch, with a deadline to be announced during the meeting. Sriwijaya University FKIP has agreed with Philippine Normal University, Philippines.

Delegates Discussions on planning for the 10th batch included improving the student selection process, improving the quality of learning modules, and strengthening collaboration with teacher education institutions in Southeast Asia.

The recommendations from this meeting are:
a. Strengthen collaboration with universities and teacher education institutions in Southeast Asia to ensure the program’s future success.
b. Focus on improving the quality of learning modules and the student selection process to achieve more optimal results
