Are you passionate about transforming mathematics education through meaningful, context-rich approaches? Join our Summer School to explore Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) and the Indonesian adaptation PMRI, along with insights from PISA and the methodological rigor of Design Research.

TARGET AUDIENCE 

The Summer School is designed to attract participants who are committed to advancing mathematics education through innovative, research-based approaches. This includes:

• Master’s and PhD students in mathematics education or broader educational fields with a keen interest in curriculum development, classroom practices, and assessment.

• Master’s and PhD students in education and learning sciences interested in mathematical literacy and international benchmarks such as PISA.

• Primary and secondary school teachers who wish to deepen their understanding of PMRI and explore classroom practices rooted in Realistic Mathematics Education.

• Teacher educators and lecturers engaged in professional development programs or teacher training institutions.

• Curriculum developers and education policymakers working to align national practices with international standards.

• Researchers in mathematics education, especially those using or exploring Design Research methodologies.
